My Daily Routine For The Next 7 Days

Hi, I’m Alex and I’m a workaholic. I don’t mean that to sound crazy, but I love working and well, I’m a little concerned that I might be working too much. 

From the second I open my eyes to the moment I close them, I’m checking emails, responding to requests, getting out of bed to do just one more thing, making myself a 24/7 on call worker. It’s just naturally how I work and get into things.

I think I need a change. So, for the next 7 days, I’m going to give a variation of the Tim Ferris morning routine a go. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep this going and not get too distracted with work, but this is what I’m hoping to accomplish for at least the weekdays. 

Monday to Friday
5:15am – Wake Up (get out of bed within 2 minutes of alarm)
5:17am – Make Bed
5:18am – Meditation (5 – 10 minutes is where I currently am at in my meditation journey)
5:25am – Coffee
5:30am – Workout
6:30am – Wake up my son to get ready for school
6:45am – Make family breakfast (I have a Vegan Protein Shake 99% of the time)
7:30am – Clean up and do dishes
8:00am – Shower
8:30am – Work
Mid-Day – 25 to 50 pushups and a 3 minute meditation
5:15pm – Family Time
8:00pm – Light work
9:30pm – Journal
9:40pm – Plan tomorrow goals.
10:00pm – Sleep

Saturday + Sunday
6:00am – Wake up
6:30a – Family Time
9:30pm – Journal
10:00pm – Sleep
